Tile is the floor for wet, hard-working rooms: bathrooms, entries, mudrooms and kitchens. It lasts for decades when the base under it is solid and flat, which is why we start with the subfloor, not the tile.
We handle the reverse too. In one kitchen and entryway the crew ripped out the old tile, feathered new hardwood into the existing floor and refinished it all to match, so the two rooms now read as one.
